Intro
The FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) program was
founded in 1989 by renowned inventor Dean Kamen. The FLL program exposes young students to the world of real engineering challenges, by building an autonomous robot
whose goal is to complete various missions across a table full of obstacles and devices. With the guidance of their mentors and their own imagination, FLL teams discover a world thrilling possibilities. Through this process the students learn of the essence of contributing
to the community in which they live. To learn more about the FIRST program, please check out their website at http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/fll
